So sad and yet so true. This is wat often happens to older people when they are put into retirement homes. Hey what's the name of the fanfic? I'd like to read it.

The fic is not published - he just messaged it to me over facebook. Technically it was a bit of a crack fic - well, more of a tongue-in-cheek soap-operatic melodrama, but receiving it was possibly the best present he's given to me in a long time.
